Welcome to Croque Monsieur – the Absinthe minded speakeasy you don’t know you’re in love with yet!
Our Mission is to re-frame people’s opinion and experience of absinthe by serving it in the traditional ‘louche’ manner with a supporting cast of absinthe minded cocktails. All our drinks are served with bottomless snacks. An array of ‘inhibition hats’ are dotted around the bar to help patrons lose their own.
You can find us beneath Lost Boys Pizza in Camden. We open Friday and Saturday nights (for now).
LEARNINGS FROM EMBRACING THE VEGAN LARDER.
– by Chief Vampire Pete Clucas
When we were still in the blue sky phase of Lost Boys Pizza we were adamant that whatever we did with the site had to be meaningful – zero plastics, avoid paper wastage, a menu that would be super allergen-friendly and all of that meant we were also setting ourselves out to be as accessible to veganism as possible while still selling meaty pizzas.
– by Chief Vampire Pete Clucas
I was a waiter when widespread service charge came into place, I worked in a high-end steak house so did well from it but my peers were divided on the matter.
The Con: You had to share with BOH and Managers.
The Pro: You never got stiffed on a tip.
Famous for being the world’s only vampire themed pizzeria, Lost Boy’s Pizza is delighted this Halloween to announce a brand new site, launching in December 2018. Located on Eversholt Street in Camden, the new venue will feature Lost Boys Pizza’s signature black charcoal pizza, killer cocktails, strictly 80s soundtrack upstairs, while downstairs will be Croque Monsieur – an absinthe bar of epic proportions.
